Now that spring has sprung, it’s time for all of us hibernators to come out of our caves and dens into the sunlight. Changing out old air filters will add to your air conditioner’s efficiency as well.

While you’re in those windows, you might should check your screens. We’re bound to have some gorgeous days before it gets hot where you’re going to want to have the windows open, and nobody likes swatting flies.

It might also be a good idea to check out the roof and gutters as well. Consider having a professional take a look for missing shingles or places where the trim or siding have begun to rot. If there are any clogged gutters, cleaning them to get rid of excess water is also a good idea.
