J.D. Power And Associates announced the findings of the 2013 U.S. Insurance Shopping Study, and Erie Insurance has captured the top spot!
This is the fourth time that Erie has been honored as one of the top Auto Insurance Carriers (based on the Insurance Buying Experience) since the study was launched in 2007. This year, however, Erie Insurance pulled down the Honor of being #1.
The three primary metrics involved in the scoring are:
- Price – Customer perception of policy premium compared to the value received
- Distribution Channel – Examines each channel a customer may use to purchase their auto insurance
- Policy Offerings – Customer perception of their new policy
